On Sept 24,2021,at around 3:00 pm, I booked a ride with Uber, intended for my husband who was on his way to work.

I put as my pick up point our house address at Mattino Way, Henderson, Nevada.

When tracking the driver's whereabouts i saw that the pick up point was different . What was shown was Cambretto Drive, instead of Mattino way.

I called up the driver and informed him of the discrepancy.

I left a message to his voice mail.I also sent him a texted message just to be sure.

The driver, James, later called me up,saying, he was just right in front of our house. He was not! He went to the wrong address. Since i was running late and my son with a vehicle thankfully arrived, i cancelled the trip with James.

When my son and my husband, were about to leave, James arrived in front of our house at Mattino Way.

I said I've canceled the trip.He insisted he was right in going to Cambretto.

How could that be? That was not the pick up point i specified. It was not my fault that he went to the wrong address.We had a little argument.

We are regular customers. I have an original account with Uber that dates as far back to 2019.

We have used Uber in traveling from the house and going to work.

You can check your records. My pick up point has always been Mattino Way .

Later, i saw from the app that Uber sent another driver, Ryan,covering the same trip.

I did not book that. So I had it cancelled.

Then the app said it was sending another driver, Roy. I had it canceled again .

I did not anymore do any booking after the incident with James.

What's worst was the app said i shall be charged cancelation fees for both cancelled trips of Ryan and Roy which I did not accept.

Please put your app in order.

I am a senior citizen. Such errors cause me unnecessary stress and anxiety and has caused delays in our trip.

Let it be put on record that I neither agree nor accept the cancellatin fees.

User's recommendation: Allow longer wait time when booking with Uber.

Preferred solution: I should not be charged cancelation fees for trips I did not book or for driver going to the wrong address..

Uber Pros: Pros-good when you dont have a ride somewhere.

Uber Cons: Difficult to contact customer service.
