Basically what happened was I made a wrong scheduled pickup (a date later in the future instead of the next day) so I cancelled that scheduled pick up and searched for another Uber. No one was even close to where I was so I scrambled for a ride to get to work and was late.

And then I was charged for a ride that supposedly came to my house while I was waiting putside for the scheduled pickup (that never came because, again, it was for the week ahead). Trying to email back and forth with customer service has proved fruitless because they insist that I was in the car and therefore should pay for it. I am not in a financial position where I can afford to pay for a service I never used and am trying to fight for it with all that I've got, but not a single person will verbally communicate with me.

I've received automated email responses. Clearly Uber does not care about me as its customer.

User's recommendation: Just don't use Uber period. Use a different service that will actually help you.
