I have continued to be charged for transportation from Uber since July 2020. I have had to replace several of my debit/charge cards due to fraudulent charges.
I DO NOT have an Uber account, as I have my own vehicle and do not need transportation to get to my destinations. Can't talk to anyone about this at Uber as I don't have an account number with which to gain access to their company. All in all it's been about $350 in charges since last July. The latest was yesterday for $13.24.
The night before I was emailed by Capitol One (not sure it was actually them) that I needed to update my credit card infor with Uber as they tried to charge $47.57 on my old card number. I will be calling my bank and capital one after I finish with this post.
