Typed in the address of the restaurant where I wanted to order my family's food and it was saved as my delivery address. Unbeknownst of my error my driver Inerjidt picked up my food and advised me that he will not be delivering my order because he would not be paid correctly.
He instructed me to change the delivery address on my order before he would deliver our food. I attempted what Inerjidt instructed and the app advised it was too late to change the delivery address. I tried calling Inerjidt twice, he screened my calls both times. Texted me saying he wants to be paid correctly so he's on the phone with support trying to fix the error.
He proceeded to cancel my order and made off with my family's food.
Uber support emailed me saying they were cancelling my order and I would still be paying for it because the restaurant already prepared it. I drove to the restaurant myself and they confirmed the driver left with my food and they remade my order.
User's recommendation: Do not use uber.
Monetary Loss: $60.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
