I rode with Uber 2 times recently and had used Uber Cash that was already paid for and when they charged me, they took the cost out of my Uber Cash like I indicated and then also took a debit card that had been used a while ago on my account and charged it even though they never had permission to even touch my card because the Uber cash was already paid for. I tried to call Uber and they had no one answering the phones, they only said they respond via the help section on the app. When I tried multiple times to reach them on the app they sent me a standardized message explaining it was an authorization hold and when I tried to respond explaining the situation and that it doesnt matter if they do authorization holds or not- they were not authorized to do so because I indicated Uber Cash not my card- they kept sending me the same automated response.
User's recommendation: Watch Out!! I’ve been charged twice several times with Uber because it’s all automatic and has no one to help you! If you do ride with them, DO NOT save a card- do gift card or Uber cash only without a card attatched.

Preferred solution: Refund all of my Uber Cash back to the account it was bought from. I will not be an Uber Customer anymore and will report you to the BBB if you dont.
Uber Pros: Convenience and ease to schedule a ride is good, Drivers always have clean cars, Usually reliable.
Uber Cons: Rudeness of some drivers, Charges double sometimes, Drivers are constantly late even for scheduled rides, Unreasonably expensive when busy, Can never talk to anyone in customer service.
