Uber deceiptfully gets riders to double tip their drivers

Once dropped off,you get a notification on your phone when, if answered, you can rate the driver 1-5 stars and select a tip. I just realized today, when looking at a trip I'd completed and tipped, there was no tip shown. So again, I rated 5 stars nd did the tip (in this case, short ride, $34). Later, as I pulled it up, I'd tipped $6. I looked at additional trips and realized this has been going on for some time. Of course, there is absolutely no way to get in touch with anyone at Uber and I'm quite certain this is intentional

Uber effectively doubles your tips and doesn't provide any means of correcting

One screen shows after you are dropped off. You add the tip. When you look back at the trip,it doesn't show a tip so if you add one an hour or so later, your recipts will be double what you wanted to tip.

User's recommendation: GO at Uber and force them to get a number or a human people can talk to.

No help with a refund for ride I never took.

I was charged $24.99 for a Uber ride on the 27th of this month. I have not been in an Uber for months. My account cleared the 2499. Nobody can get on the phone and help me to get a refund for a ride I never took! I dont know if my card has been hacked or if this was in a charge that I was unaware of? I wish somebody would call me and let me know how I could resolve this. The website is not helpful! I have been on the website trying to find where to go for the past hour and a half

When I tried to get through to someone or use the website I was very frustrated and disappointed. If you cant have a human being to talk to you then your website should be more user-friendly.

Could not get passed the payment

I went out to the street but my T-Mobile didn't connect to wifi so i had to run back home. I tried several times to pay with credit card but couldn't get beyond the Touch ID & passcode. Finally it went thru so i ran back down to the street to meet the driver. Coming home was the same, i couldn't connect the payment with Touch ID so i gave up and got a cab ($60 it cost me). I think next time i'll try Lyft.

Really upset with hassle by drivers during peak hours which makes one late.

Nearly six drivers are changed during peak hours. Making one late for critical appointments. If the company is in conflict they should sort it out between themselves.

I'm stuck at the airport bc Uber never sent a driver but took my money. Now I don't have enough to pay for another ride so I guess I'm just stuck here. And they have absolutely no way to communicate with anyone in person. only by email and who knows when they will answer it or send a refund. I believe they have it that way so u can't talk to A human
