I came out of the apartment at 7:55 a.m. with my bags, turned on the Uber app on my phone and received notification that the trip was cancelled (per Uber cancellation was at 7:49) There was a mask in my shirt pocket.

Tell me how the driver could tell I had no mask when he/she cancelled before I walked outside??

This was a trip to the airport with a critical arrival time to make a flight.

As a result of your driver LYING and arbitrarily cancelling the trip, I had to scramble to find another Uber driver...who didn't arrive for another 20 minutes, no making the flight in serious jeopardy.

The driver who did pick me up did a great job and I made my flight.

Your condescending email with mask requirements and how to wear a mask is insulting!

I had Covid (It almost killed me) in December and I have both Pfizer shots....I know damn well how to wear a mask as well as requirements for same.

So if your driver is too LAZY to accept a trip then LIES about it, I receive a reprimand; you people better recheck your policies towards customers...I own a business and know my customers are the lifeblood of our success. In general most of my Uber trips have been fine, even pleasant , As a result of this email ,sent with pointed innuendo and no investigation , I WILL NOW seek all alternatives to Uber for transportation options

seek all alternative transportation options ahead of Uber.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
