Lost wallet in Uber car

Wallet with ID and credit cards was lost in the Uber car. Immediate calls to Uber resulted in no satisfaction whatsoever. Impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone on weekends. Finally got wallet back THE NEXT DAY. Didn't have ID to fly home and get through security at the airport because the Uber driver was just too busy to run the wallet back to me that day. He obviously didn't give a damn about anybody but himself. This made it a horrible experience. The Uber driver is probably too stupid or too inconsiderate to hold down a real job. Either way,, he should not be in the service business. Uber should have higher standards.

"driver is probably too stupid" One thing is for sure, the driver wasn't stupid enough to leave their junk is another person's car as you did. Time for you to take a class in personal responsibility. Hopefully, the next passenger grabbed your junk...

Canceled Trip

The Uber driver has stolen my account

My only mobile number is +20 10 66 ** ** 21

My only email used in Uber is khaledmsfoda@***.com

On 16/09/2021 at around 6:35 pm I made a request from the New administrative capital - Minster of Defense - building 5 (Work) to New cairo (Home)

by chatting on Uber chatting the driver asked me to send him my mobile number to let him in to MOD.

Then he requested to send him the code send to me by email to confirm the trip

Then he changed my password

Then he changed my email from khaledmsfoda@***.com to 0106650****@***.co

After that he changed me with 155 EGP twice by using my debit card which was stored in my Uber account.

I canceled my debit card after I received two SMS from my bank stating that Uber deducted two transactions by 155 EGP.

He did one trip with my account on 16 September 2021 at 19:23 from Al Abageyah, El Mukkatam, Cairo Governorate, Egypt , 19:54 to 80 Talaat Harb Axis, Industrial Area, Third New Cairo, Cairo Governorate 11865, Egypt.

I can't access my account again

I cant receive SMS from Uber.

I cant receive the 6-digit verification code that should send to my App

I dont know the 8-digit backup code

What I request is

1-Restore my uber account using only email khaledmsfoda@***.com and only mobile +20 10 66 ** ** 21

2-Send me the car plat number of this driver (on 16/9/2021 at 6:35 pm) the two trips costed 155 EGP

3-Refund me

No call no respect don’t care for their customers

I was charged 28.76$ to go 5 miles. Desperate needs desperate measures. It was raining hard the driver didnt speak English which was not a problem until he refused to turn his windshield wipers on or defrost. You could not see out the driver window. I got out in the rain and walked the remanding mile
