Order not delivered

Uber Direct- a separate arm of Uber, but makes food deliveries similar to Uber eats. I ordered a food delivery directly through a restaurant website knowing it would be delivered by a third party, but if I had known it would be through Uber I would not have ordered.

Once my order was picked up by the delivery person, I was notified the delivery was through Uber by a person on a bicycle. I live in the suburbs and had ordered a milkshake with my food. That is bad enough, but I was able to track the delivery through the restaurant website and saw when the delivery person, Bryce, was at my building. I then received a text saying the order had been delivered.

I knew this was unlikely because I can hear when the door to my building is opened and someone comes to my door. Sure enough I opened the door and no delivery. I first called the restaurant as that was what the instructions said to do. They are unable to see any information once the delivery person picks up the order.

I called Uber direct and was told the same thing- once the order is marked as delivered they cant see anything about the driver and cant help with a refund. I was told to call the restaurant for that. So basically Uber Directs business model is setup as an easy way for the delivery people to steal and no one has any accountability and the customer is just out the price paid for a meal, delivery fee and tip. Capitalism at its finest.

To add insult to injury, I let the person at Uber know that the same thing happened several months ago, and was told the money would be refunded, but never was and I was not told to contact the restaurant for a refund. I was then told that was an Uber eats order and Uber direct cant help with that order.

So 2 delivery orders from 2 separate arms of Uber, 0 deliveries and out nearly $80. What a scam!

I was charged 3 times for one trip

I was charged 3 times today from Norfolk International Airport and this driver took me to different routes that it took me long going back home where it could take 12mins drive from Airport. I checked my bank and it showed I have a pending charges of $29.94 anothet $29.94 and another $44.23 which pissed me off because how can this be positive for just one ride. I ride in Gray Honda oddysey ABCDK named Allan. I would like to report this driver for overcharging me with one trip. I need to talk to a an uber representative for this issue.

Urgent complaint

Dear Sir, On Friday December 10 I requested uber ride from landmark tower to holiday inn. The driver was very rude. Despite he made me to wait for 20 minutes he came and canceled the trip and said i have to go and pick my kids. His car number is ukv452. The system deducted 52.19$. I want to know why? How can I get back my money?

Complaint against Uber

On the 27 of December I try to get use your service and I was left stranded in the freezing cold weather on my app shows 4mins then 7,then 4 and so fourth for half hour then a taxi pull up I taught it was uber and when I am half way my destination uber driver call me I told him they sent me another one then when I reach my destination the driver said you are not paying me and I said uber will pay you and he said he does not work for uber cause he does not understand English so well so I had pay him now uber wants to charge two cancellations fee I don't think I will ever use your service again

I used Uber service 2 times the past few days And the trips were fully paid. And it shows that there was an attempted by Uber to collect additional money for no reason. Du to that I am unable to request more rides until I paid for that specific amount of money for a service that was never provided. Wrong pick up point and multiple drivers sent

On Sept 24,2021,at around 3:00 pm, I booked a ride with Uber, intended for my husband who was on his way to work.

I put as my pick up point our house address at Mattino Way, Henderson, Nevada.

When tracking the driver's whereabouts i saw that the pick up point was different . What was shown was Cambretto Drive, instead of Mattino way.

I called up the driver and informed him of the discrepancy.

I left a message to his voice mail.I also sent him a texted message just to be sure.

The driver, James, later called me up,saying, he was just right in front of our house. He was not! He went to the wrong address. Since i was running late and my son with a vehicle thankfully arrived, i cancelled the trip with James.

When my son and my husband, were about to leave, James arrived in front of our house at Mattino Way.

I said I've canceled the trip.He insisted he was right in going to Cambretto.

How could that be? That was not the pick up point i specified. It was not my fault that he went to the wrong address.We had a little argument.

We are regular customers. I have an original account with Uber that dates as far back to 2019.

We have used Uber in traveling from the house and going to work.

You can check your records. My pick up point has always been Mattino Way .

Later, i saw from the app that Uber sent another driver, Ryan,covering the same trip.

I did not book that. So I had it cancelled.

Then the app said it was sending another driver, Roy. I had it canceled again .

I did not anymore do any booking after the incident with James.

What's worst was the app said i shall be charged cancelation fees for both cancelled trips of Ryan and Roy which I did not accept.

Please put your app in order.

I am a senior citizen. Such errors cause me unnecessary stress and anxiety and has caused delays in our trip.

Let it be put on record that I neither agree nor accept the cancellatin fees.

They are supposed to reimburse drivers for toll charges per trip so they always find some reason to not pay the highest charges for that day and I take a screenshot of my toll account as proof of how much I'm being charged and when you contact support they are either to lazy to actually help you or they deny the reimbursement altogether. Then the app started messing up on reservation requests and if the rider didn't show you would get barely anything but when you go to cancel it tells you one amount and then they change it after you cancel pretty sad for a large company that depends on drivers N

Pending Charges

On 11-10-2021 Uber placed 3 pending charges of $50.65 each (total of $151.95) on my credit card ending in 1889. No ride services were actually provided and paid for with this card as I could not successfully complete the reservation and had to charge the rides to my Amex card.

I only noticed these charges when I checked the card activity log on 11-21-2021. I contacted the card company and was told that the pending charges would remain open on my account until 02-07-2022 unless I contacted Uber and had them request a cancellation of the charges to the credit card company by email. Because you have no customer service phone number, this is the only way I can contact you to ask you to start the process of getting these charges removed from my card.

I'd also like to know how you can justify keeping pending charges open for almost 90 days, especially when your website states that pending charges are generally resolved in 3-5 business days. I really, really, really need to have you folks get on the stick and remove these pending charges as soon as possible.
