I made payment to an uber driver through paytm, but my uber app still shows an outstanding amount. I have lodged a complaint on uber, but I still didn't get a reply.
Uber messaged me saying that I had selected digital mode of payment, and I have to clear the outstanding balance, whereas I had selected cash mode, proof is attached. Infact, I have never used digital mode and have always used cash. Uber has been caught in a blatant lie, and I seek the required support, as i wpnt be paying a rupee more than what is fair.
User's recommendation: Please check whether payment has gone through when making a cash payment through the app, to save yourself unnecessary hassle.
Reason is I'm getting tired of telling the drivers my location that the map should already know after I write down my addresa
User's recommendation: If they are having the same issue like mine call uber customer service and complain till they fix the problem with the map.
