in december and january, my bank card became vulnerable while i was traveling. during hat time, four fraudulent payments were collected by uber.

my bank replaced the money to my account and disputed the charges. currently, uber is blocking service, demanding that i pay the four "unfinished payments"! first, the charges were not initiated by me, and second.. how does anyone get away with four unpaid transactions on uber.

this is clearly nothing but a money grab. i am disabled and depend on rideshare.

what do they gain by denying service to a frequent rider over less than $100 they aren't entitled to. weird strategy, but i guess it's working for them.

Extreme difficulty contacting uber

Your customer service number refers me to your web site which sends me in circles and does not provide me with any way to contact uber, i have been charged for a ride i did not take. Also your phone gps pings me at an address a block behind where I am at and when I text the driver they ignore the text message. I want the charge for $17.39 refunded I want the drivers to answer my texts If I cannot resolve this with this communication i will stop using Uber

I called and said I was stranded by driver and if I cancel the ride I won't have enough to get back home. I would consider this an emergency as I literally cannot get to safety! They told me keep in mind that this number is for emergencies... and then hung up. So I am just stuck here now? And this is not an emergency? I am not dying but... I am stuck here with no help. I tried to message the driver first but they didn't respond and when I said I won't cancel, they drove in opposite direction.

I forgot to add a terrible and useless customer service experience from some Uber employee that's 5 hours ahead in some other country. WHAT A JOKE!!!! I'm going to find a way to get a corporate phone number for Uber Technologies in San Fran, CA and call the CEO!!!!...

My wife didn't tell me about maybe spilling something (a can of soda I think) on the rear seat area of the Uber driver's car during her ride. Since she said nothing that night that may have been remarkable about that ride, I thought nothing of it and rated the driver 5 stars and tipped him.

One thing stood out to me as I was loading my wife in the back seat and buckled the seat belt. The driver was driving a Subaru Outback that was in immaculate condition and I figured that he may have just bought it for Ubering riders. He had sunglasses on and was busy looking at his phone and when I opened the door and my wife got in he appeared annoyed as if this was an interruption of what he was doing on the phone. I told him this was my wife and she was going home.

I shut the door and he just looked forward and took off. Apparently he told my wife something to the effect of "..not to get his car dirty.." or something to that effect. My wife is 77 years old and has some hearing issues and spills things on her now and again and I think this young driver thought that she was 'trash' and falsified a spill in his car for whatever reason to get $150 out of us! Uber just contacted me through email/app texts ONLY about this problem and I requested that they call me and provided my cell phone number to discuss this problem.

To date that HAVE NOT reached out to me. And the picture they 'provided' to me of the spill COVERS the entire seat cushion of where my wife was sitting! If she'd spilled something she'd be sitting in it for the ride duration and I'm pretty sure she would've said something to someone, me or the driver.

Apparently there are NO driving SUPERVISORS to supervise these rides so what happens between the driver and the rider[s] is ONLY known to them alone. To date they HAVEN'T reversed the cleaning fee and I've told them that I'll file a dispute claim on that charge with my bank but I'd prefer to discuss this with someone before I do that.

Preferred solution: A Phone Call from someone at Uber that gives a crap about their riding customers because that's how they earn their pay!

User's recommendation: If you take something to eat or drink on an Uber ride, make sure you report it to the driver AND in the Uber app and take a picture of it so that you have proof that the cleaning fee is justified otherwise it's just your word against the driver's word.

What is there to talk about? You admitted this person was prone to spilling stuff.

Next time instead of an Uber, you probably should call a medical transport. Pay your debt and let it go.
