Why do your driver accept rides then cancel when they are near

Preferred solution: Own your ride, once you except it. No excuses. No exceptions. Hold your drivers accountable.

We reserved an UberXL for pick up at 11:30 AM. We were told that the Uber driver would wait five minutes.

We were there at 11:15. At 11:30. We started receiving messages that the Uber driver was 10 minutes late. Then 15 minutes late.

Finally that he was running 27 minutes behind. To cancel that Uber driver and get an another Uber that was 4 minutes away they charged me $30 for canceling. We arent the ones who were late!! The driver was still over 9 miles away and 30 minutes late and wouldnt return a phone call or a text!!

We reserved the ride because we had somewhere we HAD to be by a certain time!!

If we waited for the reserved driver we would have been SUPER LATE!! The Uber driver was named Osnel dont use him!!

Someone used my card unauthorized

I would like to find out the phone number and location to the person who stole my card. I would rather speak to someone on the phone to understand how to take care of this to avoid it from happening again. Trying to make a police report on the person who stole my card and possibly my information. I can't take a screen shot of my bank information. I found out this morning

Rate went sky high

Booked a ride from PTI airport, Greensboro, NC to our home. About 12-15mins ride. Price was approx $28. Driver never showed up either, so we utilized another ride - not using Uber. We have used Uber in different cities with great service, no trouble with billing/payment, etc. Changing the price after quoted is unacceptable, much less driver never showing up. We checked both levels.

I need to leave an additional tip. We were stuck behind an overturned truck on a bridge for 4 hours.I choose to compensate the driver for lost time. He was so patient. I noticed my tip did not get charged to me. I tried several more times. So I finally put in a smaller one and it finally was accepted. I was hoping to add to it. System wont let me add to it. Most frustrating: there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called and write and was promised someone would respond. Hasnt happened.

Awards got done it said he dropped it off at a school named Stanhope elmore middle school which isnt even part of our schools now mind u I was at marbury and the adress said marbury so I never got my food he said ok then I never got my food
