Rate was doubled on ride on Sept 16th to $86.91

Normally my ride to Bush airport is $43. The ride on 09/16 was doubled. What was the reason for the increase? How can I avoid such an increase in the future?

Explanation as to why fare doubled and how I can avoid in the future

I can’t contact anyone at Uber about lost items. This is the second time this has happened. Absolute horrible customer service. No response at all.

I lost my phone so I cant access the system. Without my phone I cant claim that I lost my phone. The epitome of zero customer service. Cannot get an Uber rep in any capacity on the phone. There is nothing I can do to make a claim.

GROW up and accept responsibility. You would not have gotten "bad service" if you were more careful with your stuff.

Impossible to speak to someone.

Unauthorized credit card charge. I want someone to contact me. Continued run around. You have no customer service.

As a driver

A young lady gets into my car and she is talking on the phone and using bad language, I ask her to stop, she says she is grown and she can say what she wants. I try to call Uber while she is in the car but the wait is too long to hold, picking up next rider. She tells them I argued with her but I did no such thing.

User's recommendation: Drivers have no recourse but to say if they are wearing a seat belt.

You have a choice to tell her to get the fudge out of your vehicle. You did not so they can't do a thing.

Just give her a low rating. I heard drivers can rate passengers.

My app doesn't let me login

I got a message saying that my app was pinging me in Houston or someone logged in in Houston and I'm in Austin so now it booted me out I have almost $300 that I've earned and I can't even cash it out I'm at the airport and I can't even do my rides now I got an email to reset my password when I clicked on it it takes me to the app but it doesn't let me reset my password it just keeps saying error unable to log in

I tried to give my driver an additional tip for extraordinary service and found the process to recognize him almost impossible! Everything on the app focused on negativity not outlandish jobs!!!

I accidently hit the enter button before I was finished entering the tip. I couldnt figure out how to easily correct the amount I gave him for an outstanding job. I was horribly embarrassed with the accidental low tip he received. I think I finally reconciled it but never received a confirmation to affirm.

Poor customer service … rude driver … then pulled away and I hadn’t even gotten my purse and oxygen out I step back and he quickly takes off and I hadn’t even stepped onto the curb yet
