Mischarged fees & horrible customer service

The fee for my ride was mischarged and I was also charged with an incorrect cleaning fee. Using the app to solve these issues was awful and time consuming. It took them long amounts of time to respond to my messages, or they would just ignore my messages and questions completely. I ended up paying more than I should have, but I was so fed up and tired of dealing with them I let it go. It took about 2 weeks before I gave up.

Uber driver plz don’t go sears auto center

That’s is not right way to service they bullshet place I am working with uber I registered 3 months ago but when I go there they take my car to in side without asking me anything but when they bring out side they saying your bill is $95.56 that’s for only 5 qut but my car takes 6 quts & my Mechanic Charge me $ 45.00 they are changed me to much & they layered company plz don’t go there

Uber is ripping customers and drivers off

I travel for work every 2 weeks and I use Uber to take me from home to the airport and from the airport back home. I always leave and come back at the exact same time and I've been doing it for 2 years. My fare has always been between $40-$45. Last night, my fee was $80 for the same 30 minute trip. There was no traffic, no special events, weather was perfect, and the airport was average busy at 7:30 pm est. I checked with my driver after the ride and they paid her $40. That means they ripped the driver and the customer off. I contacted customer service and after ten back and forth conversations, they were happy to announce they would credit me 25% back. I was still pissed that they doubled my fare and acted like they were doing me a favor. I spend about $500 per month on Uber and I also use Uber Eats multiple times per week. As of today, I will no longer use either service. I'm swirly hung to Lyft and DoorDash. This company obviously isn't very intelligent, they are throwing away a lot of money away by watching me walk out the door. I plan to take hundreds of Uber customers away. Who else has been ripped off by Uber? I would love to hear from you.

they are charging you more because you are a regular user. Uber thinks you depend on them for a ride so they are going to keep jacking up the price and you stop using them for awhile.

Welcome to Uber. Keep in mind despite this they still lose billions every year.

Uber Account Hacked - no way to reach Uber

My Uber account was hacked by a driver in Porland OR. Hacker stole my credit card info and commandeered my account. Ringing up charges in Uber. I can not log in. There is no way to reach a real person at UBER - none of the published number are answered or allow you to leave a message. Why isn't Uber required to have a functional customer service hot line for security breaches??

Scheduled ride for 6:30a and it's now 4:40p and no ride... I scheduled a ride 1-23-19 at 1900 to be picked up at 0630 on 01-24-19 for work. It's now 1637 on 1-24-19 and my ride has not been pi ked up. I was late for work and had to take LYFT instead...this is so crazy. I looked at the map to see where was my ride and saw many cars on the map in my vacinity but no one picked me up!

When Uber Runs Over Its Customers: Uber: It's Not What You Think

When Uber runs over its customers. Buyer betware - Ueber is not all that is seems. At first I liked it. Ninety percent of the drivers are decent hard working honest people. But it's a *** shoot. I'd estimate ten percent are unscroupulous and should you ride with one of them Uber has no customer support. There's no phone whereby you can reach the driver or company. Case in point: Take Bill an apparently affable guy who will offer you a beverage on the way to your destination. Bill drives a Grand Cherokee and all indicators indicate that he is a criminal or accomplice to a crime. When Bill dropped me off at Planet Fitness I immediately noticed I left my bag containing an IPod and Bose headphones in the back seat. About $600 worth of equipment. I tried to wave him down but he wouldn't stop. Since then I have sent over 30 texts to him, the local Ueber office, and the corporate hub in Stamford. I even asked the Stamford police to investigate. As of this moment neither Bill nor Uebr care about larceny and they have no moral compass or desire for customer service. The car will get you from point A to poing B but after that your on your own. Uber won't lift a finger to help. Do you reaally want to take a chance with this company when you have your wallet, or keys, or handbag, or smartphone, or lose engagement ring on your finger? The smart answer is no. Bill is still out there. Lyft is the same as Uber. I'll check later today but smart money says they are much more conscientious than Uber who thinks its customer service is of no importance, even when expensive items disapper in one of their cars.

Very bad company to drive for

They treat their drivers like *** ca deactivating your previlages without an explanation of why it happened. Calling the help number you get someone who does not speak clear english, never have a supervisor on duty and I been driving over 4 years. Then wants you to take a $50 course and pay for it to learn how to keep your 5 star ratings up. They are so rude on the phone, I told them I would rather drive for Lyft.

Uber refuses to drive my disabled son

It has now been three months since my son's last Uber ride. Uber admits they placed a hold on his account because we had it set up with a different phone number for the driver than the phone that we make the reservation on. When the account was set up, they knew this was done due to my son's disability. They now say he can ride again but will not take the hold off the account. My son could lose his job due to having no ride home.

Beware of this company

I drove for them for over 3 years did over 2000 rides but they block me due to my rating what a joke the only reason they blocked me is because I am honest and tell them and everyone (and drivers and riders all agree that I talk to are at least 99 percent) I am going to a lawyer to see if we can file an class action suit here in St Louis they just paid me over 37.00 on a lawsuit out of California I believe this company is like McDonalds in my opinion they both get the word out a lot better than their competitors but McDonalds food sucks and Uber sucks big time as a ride share company. I don't know if I will succeed but they don't like me now well I guarantee you they are going to hate me after 2019 a New Year a drive to promote other ride share companies like Lyft. I use to drive for both now I drive for Lyft only and I want to thank Uber for blocking me now I don't have to deal with this horrific company and I found out I make the same with driving for Lyft only as I did driving for both but now I don't have the issues I did with Uber. How can my rating be over 8 with Lyft I have drove for them just under 500 rides with Uber I drove over 2000 and my rating was to low so they blocked me something is wrong and I know what it is Uber SUCKS!!!

Worst Customer Service

Uber 24/7 customer service is one of the worse I have ever dealt with. They do not read the emails that you send to them and keep responding with the same email that is unhelpful. My account was hacked and Uber cannot figure it out and continue to be confused despite explicit details of what happened. I was able to provide all of the information they request including the last two Uber trips I had made before the account was hacked, the name and email address on the account, and a screenshot of the name on the account. Despite multiple emails with the same information, they continue to email back asking for the same information. I feel that the person on the other end must be illiterate. I like the transportation that Uber provides, but their horrendous customer service is forcing me to use Lyft. Uber will continue to lose customers unless they fix their customer service issues.

Dropped customer

Uber randomly decided to stop taking any form of payment from me. I used it to get to work. Customer service pretends my standard debit card is incompatible. Forced to switch to lyft. Not happy at all.
