I was charged after I pay for my ride he trying to charge me 2wice
I just got off the worse ride of my life, this driver was nuts, cutting people off, I did not get dropped off at my location and then she had the nerve to charge me over $133 dollars for a $17 ride

My account has been locked since Feb 19th 2020!!! I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF THIS BILL UNTIL NOW!!
It is 17 March 2024!!! Why was I not notified about this bill before now. Was it me or was my number used? What was the pickup point and the final destination?
Tell me that information before you charge me. This company must really be doing bad because, your business prospects leave a lot to be desired. Whoever does your bookkeeping needs to be fired!!! You really suck!!!
Ive read some of your current ratings and they are bad.
Please check your past records and tell me if I do owe $38.50. If so Ill pay it; If not then close this account and leave me alone.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with discount on future orders. My next Trip advis they can give discount to me becues i lost 1 hour my time and i peyed more thats why.

I've tried contacting them but it seems the only way to communicate is via email. All complaints so far have been the same Uber says it's their partner and the partner says it's Uber. They refuse to acknowledge that they are at fault because of misleading information...
And that's it I had no way to know that I had to have a credit card at sign in the app is very misleading if it's important enough to be highlighted on the receipt then why let someone pay for it without confirmation that they have a credit card. Just like on the very next day I tried to get a Uber ride and they would not let me book one because I could not verify my identity. This is with the same debit card same app but yet I can't pay for a ride but 167.25 was taken for a rental I can't pick up. I called the partner company of Uber as soon as my receipt came through via email to cancel but they have nothing in there system using the code on the receipt so they had nothing to cancel.
The app won't do anything within the 48 hours prior to pick up but I booked the car 17 minutes prior to pick up so the app won't cancel just says to call the partner company so now I dealing with two different companies both saying I have to call the other two companies in collaboration to scam people out of there money.
Selling people something they can never have and refusing to refund. This company is way to big and wide spread for this type of behavior it's a large scam and should be viewed as unacceptable in our society.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. It was resolved through PayPal.
Uber refused to resolve the issue and felt their driver did nothing wrong. PayPal read and contacted Uber, I’m not sure if they heard back, but what's important is my money was refunded for back to me.
I waited 25 minutes before canceling and now they want to charge me almost $18 for a cancellation fee. I tried to call their customer support, help service, and no response and the number was out of service. The reason they gave for not giving me a refund is that I took the same service yesterday, and yes that service was great yesterday not
Today as he never showed and lied he had picked me up.
He never showed answeed his phone or texted to Uber app. Im officially canceling my Uber service once I receive my refund and if they don't issue a refund, I will fight it through PayPal.

Didn't have one it doesn't require it until you pick it up. I submitted the information that I was reading FAQ is there for a reason I went to the help menu to see the answer to what I need at pick up and it said booking confirmation and nothing else.
The credit card came up for the first time on the receipt. If a credit card is required why not verify the credit card before you charge people they sure wanted me to verify my identity to get an Uber driver to give me a ride but my identity wasn't an issue the night before when they took the money it's obviously by design
Verifying your identity as a rider is used to protect the driver. It just involves sending a pic of your ID.
What’s the big deal? As far as charging the rental online the night before and not verifying ID, why would they? They will check your ID when you pick up the car. And again, just FYI, you ALWAYS need the actual card in hand when picking up a car or checking into a hotel.
They verify the name on card matches the ID.
Finally I could care less that you did not like my previous comment. Just know that your hesitancy to verify ID or present an actual credit card looks very suspicious.
Why didn’t you have your card on you when you went to pick up car? Regardless of the car rental, shouldn’t you always carry it?
